Yeah, I have ITG3 floating around on my PC (including the sexy graphics Anthartic did for it way way back in the open forums), but I dunno if the steps are made by Damien. If they are, then why not just download ITG3, rrwoods?

Well, a few 1x scores I'm pretty happy about.

Ice Cold - 1x Note. The mine was my fault :(

Then this was sick, it took me a few tries but I finally got it. I'm 100% convinced the beginning is late now, I really had to adjust for it big time.

Supremacy - 1x Note

Re: synching -- Wouldn't turning assist tick on be BAD for synching? I'd be listening to the tick instead of the music, and ticks go with the steps...

The Exotica steps I'm talking about were an 11 (I think), and those Disconnected steps were awesome... :-P

I also said play it on an easier difficulty level, which would make steps go with the beat (a 1/4 stream is best obviously) then you should be able to clearly hear if the tick matches the beat.

Charly gets gradually later and later throughout the song.
Beautiful Morning drifts too...it's gets maybe .005 or .010 late a few different times.

I love Baby Seal, haha.

I just got 1p and 1g on Duality 1x. That would have been a sick flag / quad on 1x :(

You didn't download Rynker's ITGRebirthSmallSych'd pack did you? If you did, delete it and download the official ITG Rebirth pack.

Nope, I definitely got the right one.

I re-quadded Ice Cold without a mine this time...

ITG Rebirth 1x Quad 2: Ice Cold

And picked up a new one...

ITG Rebirth 1x Quad 3: Enchanted Journey

Your timing is incredible. I will look at every song you mention.

Ha, well, I've played this game for a while and have picked some things up along the way. Plus, practically all I've done rhythm game wise in the past few months has been 1x, so I've gotten used to that. You really notice how things are synced when you play it on 1x because it's a lot harder to adjust (for example, when things are flying up the screen you tend to just adjust slightly more automatically to small offsets.

Fun Fact : 350-400bpm is awkwardly fast for me now on pad :(

ITG Rebirth 1x Quad 4: Stars Above
ITG Rebirth 1x Quad 5: Lady Bug

Also got 5 on Etude for a Dragon which I thought was pretty good.

EDIT: Strikebeam gets late in the end also :(

Actually at faster arrow speeds its easier to watch the target arrows and visually play (rather than audially play). With the right speed mod people can get insane high scores with MUTE (imagine that being a song modifier LOL). I respect your 1x, I'll look into the songs you mentioned tonight or tomorrow (are all of the rest PERFECT for you so far?).

Well, that's what I mean. At 1x you pretty much have to play audially (unless the song is spaced out (like an easy nine) or pretty fast (something like reaf)).

Yeah, most of the other songs I've played are really really nice. I still haven't played all of them though, and some of the ones that I played once I didn't really take a close look at. Night Time Story is hard as fuck on 1x, hahaha.

I finally got around to checking the mentioned files:

Charly - No problems at all, I suggest you just try it again play it on Medium with an assist tick, there are 5 jumps at the very end, those jumps should be perfectly on the beat.

Beautiful Morning - No problems at all.

Strikebeam - Change the BPM to 140.025 (please verify this fixes the problem, it was indeed late at the end, I'm embarassed that I missed that, this will be fixed in R2).

Supremacy - Change the OFFSET to #OFFSET:0.006, change the BPM to 0=142.168,160=71.084,176=142.168; (please verify this fixes the problem, it was indeed off-beat, I'm also embarassed to have missed this, this will be fixed in R2).

So far those are the only 2 sync changes for R2.

InsaneMidget, I would like to invite you to work with me on In The Groove Rebirth 2 (if such a thing is even proposed). There were two people whom were supposed to help with sync on Rebirth and they both were unreliable (not to mention I couldn't verify their ability). I would love for you to be involved, you could simply be a play-tester, or backup syncher, it wouldn't ask for you to do more than just play some unofficial steps to check that I synched it perfectly. Would you care to join us (obviously I'm impressed with your ability and the Rebirth crew actually care enough about sync that I'm sure they would approve)?

Oh and also reply if those changes fix the problems.

Sure, but I promise you that Charly drifts for sure. I've played that song like 15 times now and I'm still just starting to learn when it gets late. I can look up a measure number for you if you want.

Thanks for checking those by the way. Maybe if I was more specific it would make investigating it easier.

Also, regarding Beautiful Morning, I'm leaning more towards it just seeming 'off' when the singers (who obviously cannot sing perfectly onbeat) drift off and on with the bass and it makes it easy to drift off as well.

Ah, I retract my Charly opinion. I went to go look at it in further detail and I had accidentally changed it!
