People crashing with mdawg's ITGPC
You need to remove Rebirth's flash, white flash, and yellow flash folders inside BGAnimations. I use ITGPC with the ITG2 patch.

Even after making those changes, there are still 3 songs that crash ITG PC, you have to remove the ^2^1^2 things for those three.

And don't forget to change mini to tiny in all the course modifiers.

So you guys meant mdawg's version by ITG PC...that explains a lot. I haven't tried all songs yet, but there hasn't been a crash on r2 yet.
Seems like ITG songs are getting harder with each release. There are like 5 songs with 800+ steps! :( It'll take me years to pass one of those. Necropolis ex is prolly the easiest 9 in the series. I liked vospi's songs most.

Kudos to everyone. :)

Hey guys, good to see this finally out ^_^ Just played through the pack on Singles Expert, and here's what I've got for ya (I'm playing on the COMMERCIAL ITG PC):

Beautiful Morning - feels slightly early
Charly - crashes
Clouds From The East - crashes
Disconnected delight mix - crashes
Epileptic Crisis - wow, really? what the fuck?
Get Down - crashes
Ice Cold - feels slightly early
Lady Bug - crashes
Machines Fall - wtf@ending
Metallik Heart - crashes
Mongolian Grill - crashes
Necropolis - very early
Nights in Heaven Days In Hell - lags a little during the hold-stream
Ode To Dragon - feels slightly early
Safety Net - crashes
Sail Away - feels late
Summer - feels slightly early
Synth Synth Synth - crashes
This Must Be A Dream - crashes
Vifta med Handerna - artist overlaps bpm
Wish - artist overlaps bpm
Wish remix - artist overlaps bpm

Also, since I'm playing the commerical version of ITGPC, you can't have "In The Groove" in a song folder name; if you do, it won't load. Because of this, I had to rename the folder (I chose "ITG Rebirth"; you can still have "ITG"), and thus all the courses are either incomplete or don't show up at all.

EDIT: After having done a find-and-replace to change "In The Groove Rebirth" to "ITG Rebirth", no songs from ITG1 or 2 show up in the courses despite them being in the files.

EDIT: Oh yeah... and "mini" should be "tiny" on ITGPC and SM4.0 (I think).

rrwoods: Disable bg videos to avoid crashing, or follow one of the countless posts with instructions on how to modify files to not have them crash.

Basically ITG Rebirth needs two separate releases, one that works on home versions and one for the arcade population. The current arcade release is bad for home players, and most of the dloaders supposedly are home players, who all have to do some magic tricks now to get it to work.

Play it on Singles Medium to check sync please, oh and use Assist Tick.

From the list of songs you felt were behind I can tell you like slow songs to lag. I've read posts from many different people who have this type of preference, even some people who prefer the fast songs to be ahead of the beat. Sorry but you will have to adjust the offset for your own preference, or learn how to keep the beat better (I suggest using a C-mod, playing on an easier difficulty, using assist tick, etc.)

I also have a post that details all the songs that will crash your ITG PC and suggestions on how to modify them (I had the same problem and fixed them already).

Alrighty, I'll check that post. For some reason I thought it was mDawg-ITGPC-specific, but I'll give it a shot.

EDIT: Erm, yeah... that list of songs in your post (Beautiful Morning, etc; the post where you mention Epileptic Crisis probably crashes, that's the one, right?) reads more like a list of songs that DON'T crash rather than the ones that do.

And yeah, I was playing on Expert; I'll recheck the sync on Medium.

Any ideas on the stock ITG songs not showing up for courses though?

When I used that ITG PC, I simply put the officials in an entirely separate folder. So basically I created a folder called "ITG Officials", and put all the ITG1 and ITG2 songs in there. You'll have to change every re-direct to an official, but that's how I did it.

...ew. So on your song wheel, you have "In The Groove", "In The Groove 2", "In The Groove 3", and then "ITG Officials" with duplicates of all those songs?

For one thing, I don't have the simfiles. Just the game. I suppose I could extract the files, but really? There's got to be a way to just get the songs in the game to show up on marathons.

EDIT: For the hell of it, I took out the BGCHANGES2 section from Charly. Still crashes :-/ Same if I take out the flash folders (but leave BGCHANGES2 in).

Doing the latter will always make everything crash, that's for certain.

You have the Rebirth RandomMovies, right? In the root folder > RandomMovies > In The Groove Rebirth? If you don't, that'll most likely do it too.
